Taylor Welson, Grades 3/4

Hello families!

My name is Ms. Taylor and I am very excited to be teaching 3rd/4th grade this upcoming school year!

I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, but moved to Flagstaff in 2009 to start my collegiate journey at NAU. I have considered Flagstaff my home ever since! I have my Masters in Elementary Education and have taught both 3rd grade and 4th grade in Winslow the past 7 years. I’ve also worked at the summer camp at the Arboretum multiple times. 

My wonderful husband, Jesse, and I raise our 2 dogs, Zoe and Martin. When I’m not busy with my dogs, I enjoy reading, playing board games, scrapbooking, and learning new things. I love being surrounded by the beauty of Flagstaff and being a part of this community.

Teaching is a passion of mine and I truly care about my students and their education. I work hard to provide hands-on experiential learning to help foster a lifelong love of learning in the students I work with. Our classroom community will be one of caring and curiosity as we learn throughout the year.
