1.	Call to Order/Welcome:	The meeting was called to order at 12:09 PM.	Renee Fauset, President
2.	Adoption of Agenda:	Katherine Lampros made a motion to adopt the July 9th agenda. Mark Neumayr seconded the motion. 5.	Action Item: Approve June 28, 2019 Board Meeting Minutes	Mark Neumayr made a motion to adopt the June 28 Board Meeting Minutes as amended. Jason Aulwes seconded the motion. 1. Add reason for Executive Session to item 13: Executive Session: “to discuss the Director’s evaluation, contract, and salary.” 2. Add approved building expenses to item 11: Board approval of building project proposals for summer 2019 · 4 laptops – each over $500.00 · Gutters moved under sidewalks on west side · New Electrical subpanel · Terraced Landscaping on playground 3. Add starting date for Executive Director’s raise: “salary increase for the Executive Director starting July 1, 2019.” The motion was approved. 6.	Action Item: Adopt the proposed 2019-2020 Mountain School Budget (Fiscal year 2020)	Renee Fauset made a motion to adopt the proposed 2019-2020 Mountain School Budget (Fiscal year 2020). Action Item: Determine Executive Director spending limits for credit card charges and reimbursements	Jason Aulwes made the following motion: To set the spending limit for a single expenditure to mirror credit card limit on card, currently $5,000.00. Action Item: Determine Executive Director spending limits on capital spending without prior board approval	Jason Aulwes made the following motion: To table this item until further discussion with auditor to clarify definition and parameters surrounding Capital spending. 9.	Action Item: Resignation of Ellen Majure as a Mountain School Board member	Mark Neumayur made the following motion: To accept Ellen Majure’s resignation as a Mountain School Board Member. 10.	Agenda Item: Discuss best way(s) to inform board of Mountain School events	There was discussion surrounding the best ways to inform board members about Mountain School events. · Vanessa agreed to add board members’ email addresses to the parent email list to keep members apprised of important dates. 11.	Agenda Item: Director’s Report	Vanessa Fitz-Kesler discussed the following items: · Staffing update—new hires, 1 teacher and several aides · Changing staff schedule to provide teachers with more opportunities for collaboration · Revising teacher salary schedule to support fair pay for new and seasoned teachers · Joining ASBA (AZ School Board Association) in FY20. · Reworking the building rental agreement for FY20 · Revamping the Mountain School website is underway · Discussing future building projects	Vanessa Fitz-Kesler, Executive Director
12.	Agenda Item: Discuss possible change of board meeting time and place	There was discussion concerning a possible change of board meeting time and place. Sandra Dihlmann will inquire about using the Coconino Community College Boardroom at 2:00 on the 2nd or 3^rd Thursday of each month.	Renee Fauset, President

Agenda Item: Future agenda items to consider

· Sandra will follow-up on CCC Boardroom use for Mountain School Board Meetings at 2:00 on 2^nd or 3rd Thursday of month.

· Teacher’s salary schedule

· Mountain School benefits added to pay stub
