Homework Club
Description: Staff available for your child to get help with their daily homework

Description: Choir at Mountain School is designed to give students who love music a chance to sing and perform. The students who participate in choir develop a strong bond with each other and enjoy working together as a team. We learn how to sing individually and as a group. We learn about Musical Theater and we learn a variety of different music. The choir will perform for several different events both after school hours and during school hours.

Spanish Club
Description: Spanish club focuses on engaging activities in a smaller group setting that enhance what is being taught in the classroom. All four components of language (speaking, writing, listening and reading) will be covered by means of art, drama, cooking, outdoor play, excursions and Spanish-speaking games.

News Club
Description: News Club is for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders interested in learning about how a newspaper is written and published. We publish a monthly newspaper for school events called Mountain School News. Students are assigned leads, conduct interviews, and complete research to write our paper.

Description: Drama Club is for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders interested in the different aspects of drama. We perform storytelling and poetry interpretations, complete readers’ theaters, and act in and write our own plays.Day/Time/Location: Thursdays, 3:15-4:30, Ms. Ashley’s 4/5 classroom

Lego Club
Description: Lego Club is a grant funded club where children explore themes, build communities according to the theme and share their engineering.
