You are your child’s first and most important teacher. It is both your right and your responsibility to take an active role in your child’s
education! Parents can become involved with children’s learning in a number of ways. Here are some possibilities:
· Participate in our parent organization
· Join a school committee
· Visit your child’s classroom
· Eat lunch with your child
· Talk to your child’s teacher
Mountain
School has a very active parent group. We'd like to
encourage all of our parents and the community to play an
active role in molding and creating a better place of
education for our children.
PAC MISSION
STATEMENT: As members of PAC, we are committed to bringing together the talents of our teachers and parents. Our goal is to enhance our children's education by creating a rich learning environment. We will achieve this by providing our teachers with help, committee involvement and facilitating the flow of information between our teachers, parents, students, and staff thereby creating a pleasant working atmosphere.

PAC membership is for the particularly dedicated individuals who have demonstrated past service to Mountain School and who are willing to participate in assisting families comply with the Parent Volunteer Service Program and serve on appropriate committees. These people must have been at or affiliated with Mountain School for a minimum of one year, have completed his/her volunteer hours during each year at Mountain School, and have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
